Finishing / Terminando

In the first phase, we performed the following steps to manage LIDAR files (.las) from the internet.

1.- Escaneamos una carretera
     We scan a road -ver->

This first step to get the information later try. An important question is which type of vehicle to use. What are the best sensors ...

2º.- Nos planteamos el problema
      We pose the problem -ver->

The information obtained is LIDAR files (.las) And very large. You have to think what is the most efficient way to work with them. Do the split? How?

3º.- Hemos dividido los enormes ficheros .las
     We divided the massive files .las -ver->

The decision is difficult The options are either to work with a few very large files or many small files. The second option is implied another question what is the ideal size? How do we divide?

4º.- Segmentamos según su trayectoria
     Segmented along its axis -ver->

One option is to divide them according prisms along the axis of the road How do you do? Here we will explain a way to do it.

5º.- Los elementos segmentados formaron proyecciones en diédrica
     Segmented elements formed dihedral projections -ver->

The projection as a solution. After studying thousands of possibilities and find 1000 errors for each of them, we find a seemingly obvious: A 2D projection occupies fewer bytes than their original 3D. The dihedral appeared to us as the only possible projection that could transmit 3D data at an appropriate speed internet and does not require large equipment by the customer. This was the cornerstone of our project. We could see in 3D, transmitting information in an acceptable time, and in the future, vincularíamos data path and they would plug into a GIS with the help of any type manager web maps.

6º.- Creamos ortofotos
     We create orthophotos -ver->

As an added bonus since we had both projection coordinates as the ground was logical that their marriage could take place orthophotos. We explain how.

     With these projections can measure and display 3D online -ver->

As in the previous paragraph. Since each pixel photographic equivalent to 1 cm and the projection can we know what is the distance in pixels, it was clear that the next step would be to obtain the absolute coordinates from .las projection itself relative. Combining several projections the case was resolved. This feature is characteristic of the projection in dihedral.

     We prepared the data pseudobase about axis -ver->

Here's how to join data around a rather unique database, the data pseudobase of ENMACOSA.

Geo-information we reference a map server (Google Maps) constituting a GIS -ver->

Within the world of servers and services available maps why you choose to Google Maps? How is data binding together to form a GIS? Here we explain.

We deduce and we make reports on the geometric characteristics of the track (IRI, earrings, cambers) -ver->

We explain how to add more information to our GIS. In this case the GPR profile and geological profile.

 We add to GIS GPR profiles, documentation, inventory, and photos

We allow 3D viewing in the browser (with limitations)-ver->

Just dihedral? Why not one more conventional 3D? Both the perspective axonometric conical as possible. We explain how and limitations when running within the browser.

And also we adhere to Google Maps, ground road information with sensitivity and force centimeter dealer / manager in LIDAR data grid  ver->

       http://pequenos-trucos-de-programacion.blogspot.com.es/

In point 3, by dividing we LIDAR files away the possibility of division into regular regions. That "faux pas" opened the door to other possibilities. (Stumbling and falling is forward path)
From here. It goes back better and analyze each particular problem. In some cases we placed one new page accessible from the right sidebar.
On the other hand, we needed to learn "little programming tricks" with time we will be placing here:

There will be those who have committed faults and all those missteps ... and some successful.
